Great move on his part.19 points, including a couple big free throws, and hit one of only two 3-pointers that Michigan made all game.

Oh, that's right.Last 3 were Michigan in 1989, Michigan State in 2000, and Michigan tonight. (I was including this game.) Indiana won the 3 before that for the Big 10 (1976, 1981, 1987).
Oh, that's right.
Michigan State had 79, too.
I don't agree with this. Guys are moving around these days looking for a bigger payday. This type of thing is going to happen a lot.Cadeau as Final Four MOP for Michigan is exactly why Hubert had to go.
You nailed it. Been saying it since December as I recallWelp...wish I could call other things the way I called this college basketball season.
So they should have done more!Ugly game. Carolina probably should have done more to keep Cadeau, but I think he didn't really want to play with Hubert anymore.
Yep, hopefully they have learned that lesson. Spend whatever it takes. So they should have done more!

Hubert didn’t get enough out of Cadeau for his talent level (and similarly failed many players) and also tended to choose poorly which players should be kept and which we should let go in the portal (via $$$ priority).I don't agree with this. Hubert simply didn't win enough.
Impossible to make that roster happen in this era. This has been kind of a rough year to watch the ones who got away:
Elliot Cadeau - 10.3 ppg, 5.9 apg, .379 3pt%, FF MOP
Tyler Nickel - 13.5 ppg, .400 3pt%, .847 FT%
Cade Tyson - 19.6 ppg, 5.4 rpg, .413 3pt%, .822 FT%
Jalen Washington - 8.9 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.3 bpg
Ven-Allen Lubin - 13.6 ppg, 7.1 rpg, .668 FG%
Ian Jackson - 9.4 ppg, .900 FT%
Those guys with Wilson, Veesaar, and Trimble would make a pretty good team.
It was in there but quick and relatively painless.Round of 64 games without a buzzer beater only make it about 10% of the time. I know UNC increases the odds, but I'm still betting the under.
