MSNBC's new news chief said just a couple of weeks ago that in the "Trump Era" MSNBC would lean into its "progressive roots" and continue to hold Trump accountable. Firing two of the network's more liberal (and in Joy Reid's case, better-known) hosts and commentators doesn't exactly sound like that's what is happening.MSNBC replacing Joy Reid and Alex Wagner

Interesting how most of the people they're firing are minorities. Again, the new news manager for MSNBC said that something like this wouldn't happen. After today it's very hard to see this as anything other than MSNBC caving to Trump, no matter what they say.Ayman Mohyeldin, Katie Phang, and Jonathan Capehart also now out at MSNBC.
