Viktor Orban looks like a kindly grandfather in that photo.
I don't get that at all. The fired anchors had terrible ratings and MSNBC is trying to turn around the ship. Rachel acknowledged that, she just didn't like how it was done (especially for the producers).Good for her. It seems clear that the new news director's claims were a lie and that MSNBC is caving to Trump. Good luck maintaining what little audience they had left!
That doesn't make the point you think it makes. The reality is that the replacements are almost all minorities and just as liberal as the prior hosts.
Because, as Maddow and Olberman pointed out.....MSNBC is racist! No surprise there.
They are corporate media. They spew propaganda with the best of them, but they have a long way to go to reach Fox/OAN/Newsmax levels of racism.Because, as Maddow and Olberman pointed out.....MSNBC is racist!
MSNBC is getting very whiteAyman Mohyeldin, Katie Phang, and Jonathan Capehart also now out at MSNBC.
Lester Holt "retiring to spend more time with his family" at NBC (j/k, he's going to Dateline I believe).
Well, for one thing, there's this:When I read the following article, a lot of what he said I agreed with about media and its relationship with politics, and I have similar beliefs of my own. But then, he said he voted for Trump in 2024, apparently mostly because of the issue of 'free speech', i.e., the First Amendment, and the fact that Democrats are curtailing it. Thoughts anyone? Help me understand this guy.

So libertarian ... ish.Well, for one thing, there's this:
"Gurri is a visiting research fellow at the Mercatus Center, and he writes for The Free Press, Discourse magazine and City Journal, among others"
Guessing he so favors free speech that he thinks businesses such as social media sites shouldn’t restrict/delete/flag disinformation or misinformation on their sites. So, if a Christopher Rufo or James O’Keefe or Donald Trump wants to lie on a social media site, that site is supposed to let them do so.When I read the following article, a lot of what he said I agreed with about media and its relationship with politics, and I have similar beliefs of my own. More like GOP. Mercatus Center is basically a Koch enterprise. They are basically just GOP at this point. They like libertarian stuff over culture war stuff (because the former benefits them), but mostly they like the GOP over Dems.So libertarian ... ish.
And, by the way, congrats on being a Legend of ZZL!
A dubious accomplishment, if ever there was one. And, by the way, congrats on being a Legend of ZZL!
Thanks, helpful! But I am still perplexed.Guessing he so favors free speech that he thinks businesses such as social media sites shouldn’t restrict/delete/flag disinformation or misinformation on their sites. The Kochs have helped fund the Mercatus Center since the ‘80’s.
He’s a grifter. Willing to get paid. Thanks, helpful! But I am still perplexed.
