Thats because it was -180 not -200.That’s what I thought. -200 means you have to bet $200 to win $100, and +155 means a $100 bet wins $155, right. I was thoroughly confused by Bigs .80 cents example.

-180 means you have to bet $1.80 to win $1. if you win you get back your stake ($1.80) plus $1Thats because it was -180 not -200.
Isn’t that what I said?-180 means you have to bet $1.80 to win $1. if you win you get back your stake ($1.80) plus $1
No. You said you’d win .80 if the Yanks won.Isn’t that what I said?
If you bet a dollar on the ML you’ll win .80 on the Yanks or 1.65 on the Guardians.
On a $1 bet.No. You said you’d win .80 if the Yanks won.
I don't follow MLB that closely but how did I not know Pete Crow Armstrong
If you bet $1 on a team -180 and win, you win $1.56On a $1 bet.
This post didn't age well for my thoughts on the AL Central. The crown for the AL Central and NL West is going to be fun to follow the rest of the way. All of the top teams in each division could string together 10+ wins in a row at any given time.
