Of course idiots like this won't believe it, but when all the votes are in Trump will not have won anything remotely close to a landslide or a historic win. He's going to end up with less than 50% of the vote and will beat Kamala by around one percentage point in the popular vote. Not exactly a mandate, although as I said his cult won't care - they'll keep saying it was a landslide no matter what.

Actually Wiles is a friend of Matt and a huge supporter. She was instrumental in bringing him in as part of Trump’s debate prep team.

Reagan's victory was much more historic.

It looks like trump will only end up a few million ahead of Harris. He, just like in 2016, got them in the right place.

He's not a "sex predator." The Justice Department opened an investigation for his alleged involvement in sex trafficking in 2021 (leaked it to the press) then ended their investigation without any charges being brought against him. Don't you trust the Justice Department to do a thorough investigation?

What if the bipartisan House report that was supposed to come out tomorrow (before Gaetz conveniently resigned yesterday) reached a different conclusion?

I would imagine the report would have dealt with his alleged ethical conduct, not criminal.

IIRC (I do) no charges were brought because prosecutors were concerned that a jury wouldn’t find the star witness (his close friend/whoring companion/ confessed sex trafficker) trustworthy and that the victim (now an adult) sells pornographic videos of herself online and juries often have trouble accepting that hookers can be raped.
 
I'm not the designated defender of Gaetz. I said last night that it was a bridge too far to appoint him AG. I simply pointed out he's not a criminal and has never been charged by the DOJ. I have no doubt the ethics report is devastating which is why he resigned yesterday. Most all Republicans despise the guy.

You all won't acknowledge, however, that Trump picked Matt to massively troll the Left, play 4D chess and send the Deep State spiraling out of control. He wants Jack Smith, Andrew Weissman et al spending sleepless nights over the next few months. No way no how Gaetz is ever approved by the Senate and Recess appointments are easier said than done. Trump will withdraw the selection by January.

LOL. Those guys aren't going to be sleepless. They haven't done anything wrong. If Gaetz tries to persecute them, they will have the best lawyers in the country lining up to represent them pro bono if necessary. They will be able to raise millions through gofundme. Trump is going to need a lot more than Gaetz to get at them.

But the Ruby Freemans of the world? That's who will be spending sleepless nights. Ordinary Americans like people on this board, who have to worry about whether the American government will be able to function at all competently or if we're going to end up like Argentina in the 1970s -- completely bankrupt, exhausted, demoralized and broke.

That's who you've been campaigning against all along. You think you're going after Jack Smith. But really you've been campaigning against America. You're been campaigning against decency. You've been campaigning against the welfare of the people you so cravenly call countrymen or countrywomen. That's what Trump is -- a full repudiation of all decency.

And all of that hate you are sending out will come back to bite you. I think you know that. It's just worth it to you to cause harm to the people you hate. It's all about draining the pools rather than integrate them.
