OK, new vote updates in NC and Georgia make it seem increasingly unlikely that Harris can win either.

Down to the blue wall. AZ and Nevada still out there, too.

But this is starting to look like 2016 rather than 2020.

Taking a break and will check in later.

Absolutely mind boggling.

Serious Question: IF Trump wins, and you are the Democratic party, don't you have to look in the mirror at least to some degree to try and figure out how you lose to this guy twice in 3 elections?

I think you do. Clearly, the Paul Ryan republican party is gone and has no constituency. So what can Democrats do to appeal to more folks?
Lie like Republicans. Sell fear.

Voting against their own interests. If only Americans could do math. Or READ a history book. Or appreciate science. Hopefully, a miracle happens. 'Murica has sucked at the 21st Century.
Their racism and bigotry blind them to everything else. Even when things were bad at least they can feel superior by just being a straight white Christian.

By around 11:30 we will have a clear read on GA. Right now I am thinking it will again be around 11,000 vote margin. Now which way?
Kamala is significantly underperforming Biden all over the country. Absent some huge demographic shifts in GA in the last four years, she can’t make up the nationwide underperformance.

You are right and you did call that.
Holding out hope Harris can squeeze it out.

Would Biden have done better?

Shapiro?

Mayor Pete?

Newsom?

Who could have won?

Apparently, not nominating a woman, as it seems clear that too many people simply will not vote for a female presidential candidate.

Given her accuracy in past elections, I’d wager she was trying to make a national impact

NYT shows her losing EVERY battleground.

The weird thing about swing states is they tend to all swing the same way. Happened in 2012 (to Obama), 2016 (to Trump) and 2020 (to Biden). Looks like it is happening again, back to Trump, though we need to count the votes in the Midwest to be sure.

I can’t be that mother fucking piece of shit is going to be President again. Four more years of listening to the shit that comes out of his mouth will intolerable
You won't have to listen for four years. ttump won't make it four years; he might be acceptable to display to the public for two - maybe. You'll have to listen to Vance, Cotton, Theil, Musk, Hawley, and RFK jr tell you reality isn't real and how great it is that corporations no longer pay taxes, the concentration camps are for our safety, and the social safety net has been holding this country back for decades.

Start hating women, gays and brown people. Suck the dick of billionaires everywhere? Kiss Putins ass?

What kind of candidate is trump?
Garbage. He has no vision for the future. He can be easily bought. He's impulsive, childish and unintelligent. Trump's quality, or lack of, doesn't make Kamala any better. She's essentially the same candidate that failed badly in 2020.
