Post how much you paid for eggs today

We gave away 2 dozen eggs yesterday.

We kept 6 for breakfast this morning and tomorrow. Should have my mom out of this house on Thursday.

When we get to Ga were going to celebrate with the best eggs ever. And my asshole brother gets none.
 
My local Hardee's had up a sign saying that they wouldn't be serving scrambled eggs for an extended amount of time. Thanks Trump

I am always amazed at the sheer number of non-Trump supporting supporters we have had here and on the old ZZLP. Seems like there were a ton of posters who would claim they didn't support Trump and never voted for him, but who nonetheless seemed to support nearly everything he did and did nothing on the board but attack and make fun of liberals while never doing the same with conservatives. It's almost as if they're not really sincere when they claim they're not Trumpers.

Their breakfast biscuits are actually pretty good, and better than Bojangles at some locations, imo. Sad to hear.

There are a couple of restaurants, we've eaten at (waffle house and Biscuitville), are charging an egg surcharge. But 50 cent an egg, is more than covering the increased cost of the egg plus some profits. Leave it to business to figure out how to make money off of a bad situation.
 
Still beats the hell out of the toilet paper shortage. I'm convinced that's part of why immigration slowed.

I bet there are people out there who are still working through their COVID toilet paper purchases.

I never changed my toilet paper purchasing practices during COVID and never had an issue.
 
Now, I don’t have the best memory, but I don’t seem to recall there ever being any egg surcharges at restaurants under Joe Biden. Is nothing sacred anymore in this disastrous Donald Trump economy? Take me back to four years ago already!

Well, they are still serving what they call "flat eggs" on their breakfast sandwiches. Guess they can't be serving up the good fluffy eggs and chance going broke. But even the "flat eggs" on the sandwiches have been pretty skimpy lately.
 
Has anyone had much trouble finding eggs? I hear that from time to time but they are always well stocked here in Cary. Maybe not every option, but always plenty of them on hand. They are expensive for sure.

Prices haven’t really risen here (east bay), at least for the brand that I buy, but you’re limited to 2 dozen and there’s usually a shortage. (Although, I am starting to see more lately….but maybe I am just hitting it at the right time.) Also starting to see surcharges at restaurants.
