“A leading suicide prevention group blasted the Department of Health and Human Services after it released a report that disputes widely accepted gender affirmation treatment for trans children.
The Trevor Project accused HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Trump administration of attempting to rebrand conversion therapy, which tries to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity, with more friendly sounding “exploratory therapy” as it moves to halt gender-affirming treatment for children.
… According to HHS, the review “fills the gap in the medical literature” but the department did not say who authored it. The news release stated only that that its contributors include “medical doctors, medical ethicists, and a methodologist.” It also said it was subject to “peer review” but did not provide any details on the process.
“Names of the contributors to the review are not initially being made public, in order to help maintain the integrity of this process,” HHS said in a news release.
An HHS spokesperson told the Daily Beast the report is “not a clinical practice guideline” and insisted it does not issue legislative or policy recommendations. …”

RFK Jr. will order placebo testing for new vaccines, alarming health experts

“You are watching the gradual dissolution of the vaccine infrastructure in this country,” said Paul Offit, director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. “The goal is to make vaccines less available and less affordable.”

… And while HHS said the trials would be for “new vaccines,” if Kennedy tries to test vaccines that have already been approved, such as the measles vaccine, against a placebo, that would mean in practice some children would not get vaccinated against the infectious disease while their neighbors did — a quandary that physicians say leaves them susceptible to diseases when there is a vaccine that works.
Stanley Plotkin, a pioneer in the field who developed the rubella vaccine, said that when scientists test vaccines against a new disease, they typically look for evidence that the vaccinated individuals do not get a disease, compared with those who received a placebo.
This is how the coronavirus vaccines were tested, in 30,000-person trials in which half of the participants received saline shots.
But when a disease is already well understood, scientists can look for evidence that vaccines induce a biological response that has been scientifically shown to protect against the disease — what scientists call “a correlate of protection.”
In the case of diseases that cause serious illness and can even be fatal, if there are existing interventions, the use of placebos is often not considered ethical.
“Ethics must be taken into account when you set up a study,” Plotkin said.
“Can I ethically agree to having people acquire the disease because they receive a placebo?” …”

There is some truth to the statement that some vaccines contain aborted fetus debris. A lot is misleading and imprecise. Traces is a better description.

They are going to apply it to the flu vaccine. How in the hell are they going to go through a placebo AND have time for the updated flu shot to be effective? Descendant cells are the medium in which these vaccines are prepared. The cell lines under consideration were begun using cells taken from one or more fetuses aborted almost 40 years ago. Since that time the cell lines have grown independently. It is important to note that descendant cells are not the cells of the aborted child. They never, themselves, formed a part of the victim's body.
In total only two fetuses, both obtained from abortions done by maternal choice, have given rise to the human cell strains used in vaccine development. Neither abortion was performed for the purpose of vaccine development.
That doesn't sound like aborted fetus debris to me.

HHS said they would NOT apply this directive to the flu vaccine. Which requires that we believe what they say but hopefully is true.

If gender dysphoria is some type mental condition, in other words it's caused by events/functionality in the brain, is it that outlandish to try to treat and "cure" it?
If it were any other mental condition, PTSD, OCD, etc, would there be a political angle to treating it?

GAC reinforces the gender dysphoria, it doesn't try to "cure" it. "Cure" meaning align the gender of the brain with the gender of the physical body.
