Quit being so hysterical. This is a peace process with a KGB killer where Trump's trying to bring peace to war which started under his predecessor. This meeting is merely the first step. Trump doesn't have to do any of this. He could simply sit back and have the Europeans continue to buy weapons from US companies (at a substantial profit) to sell/loan/give to the Ukrainians. US would profit by this war continuing. That's what you accused Cheney of doing. Now, when a Republican President is trying to get the process for peace started you lose your minds.
What's the alternative, have World War I trench fighting continue indefinitely?

The alternative is for the President of the United States of America, the greatest and most powerful country in the history of the world, to NOT ROLL OUT THE LITERAL RED CARPET ON WHICH HE STANDS CLAPPING LIKE A SEAL AND BOUNCING LIKE A PRE-PUBESCENT GIRL GOING TO A JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT! That's the alternative! The alternative is to treat Vladimir Putin the exact same way that Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixonn, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden- along with every one of their European counterparts- treated every other Russian head of state....with disdain, distrust, and without legitimizing them. Without compromising with them. Without allowing them to dictate terms. BECAUSE, AGAIN, WE ARE THE STRONGEST AND MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. RUSSIA IS NOT OUR PEER. Why can’t Trumpers criticize a single thing that he does? I voted for Biden but when Biden did things that I thought were dumb, I called him out for it. Yet with MAGA it seems like they think every single action Trump takes is the best thing in the world.
