If you visit someone’s home and they ask you to remove your shoes upon entering, you do it. Z showed no respect to the President and the decorum inside the Oval Office. His attire was just one example of his disrespect.

It’s not soft. Reagan wouldn’t even take off his jacket in the Oval and would have had Z promptly removed upon observing his attire.

Your point would be better taken if Trump's handler, President Musk, wasn't routinely wearing tshirts and ball caps inside the Oval, while dragging his snot-nosed kid along to boot.

Why don't you hold President Musk to the same standard as President Zelensky?
 
Musk is a fair point but….Musk is not in the Oval asking for anything. Z is a foreign leader who’s visiting the office of his Country’s benefactor who’s received billions in aid and is asking for the US’s security guarantee.

No, Musk is just in the Oval Office working to rip away employment, health care, veterans benefits, and more from millions of American citizens. The least he could do is wear a suit and leave his kid at daycare.

Ukraine has received 66 billion since 2022.

If the main thing you are upset about that meeting was Z’s clothing you are just fucking stupid. Did Trump show him any respect? Hell no!! This is a man who has been fighting for 3 years to keep his county from being swallowed up by a brutal dictator. He knows what courage means. Trump and Vance have no fucking clue what word means. It’s not the main thing, just one of many slights and mistakes on Z’s part. Y’all are focusing on it.

Having said that, if a bride’s family invited you to a wedding and the invitation clearly stated the attire was formal/semi formal, do you show up dressed like Fetterman? Does it change your opinion if the bride allows her eccentric nephew (on the spectrum) to wear what he wants? Good manners count.
