That's how it's been until recently when the medical side, that the parents trusted for sound medical advise, decided "You know, this probably isn't a good idea".
You mean when medical associations yield to political pressure from an administration provably ignorant about science and medicine. I think I'm done with your idiotic posturing for the day.

I hope the irony of your first two sentences isn't missed.

Nonsense. 99% of the population was not opposed. I'd bet that most Liberals and LGBTQ supported GAS for minors. Just read the opinions on this forum. Read the responses, like yours, to people who said "No, we shouldn't let children decide to cut their genitals off". The response, as you modeled above, was "You don't know anything. This is between the doctors and the families. This surgery is saving lives. We are following the research and you're just transphobic."

Irony.

Not any more, you don't.

You are either dishonest or haven't been reading the broad support for GAS for minors not only on this forum but across the Democratic Party.
I would hope for your own sake that you have the mental capacity to differentiate between support of something and simply saying "i am not the person best suited to be making a final decision for something and someone to whom I have no connection".

What other things that virtually never happen should we base large policy and PR initiatives around?

I suggest that we outlaw good faith arguments by Republicans.

Now you're just making things up.
