While this is correct, people have to be pretty shitty in their underlying psyche to accept Trumpian propaganda. I hate to draw the worn out parallel to Nazi Germany but I will. Germans accepted Nazi prop against Jews because they wanted to. They were angry, racist, monstrous people on their own and the propaganda just tapped into that and weaponized it.
