TV $I don’t know about Chicago but a football SaturDAY totally rocked in comparison to a night contest.
There are actually a couple of threads about him.I wonder if the idiots on the basketball board are still fluffing Dan Hurley as the most amazing coach of our generation . . .
I don’t think college sports have been ruined. It’s certainly different especially for us long timers but there is still entertainment there.Yep. The ruination.
There aren’t many things less useful than the opinions of the IC freeboard posters. There are actually a couple of threads about him.
They are on both sides of the debate.
The fire HD treads are popping up again.
I spend time on the premium board and you can pretty much say the same there as well. There aren’t many things less useful than the opinions of the IC freeboard posters.
They always go after the shiny new object. To be fair, by winning back-to-back national championships, Hurley’s shine was the brightest of all, but they let two seasons define him rather than his entire now 15-year D1 coaching career.I wonder if the idiots on the basketball board are still fluffing Dan Hurley as the most amazing coach of our generation . . .
What people don't really understand is that this is a very strange era in college basketball that is coming to an end. The extra year of eligibility plus the transfer portal meant that there was a huge influx of veteran talent just flowing into the programs that, for whatever reason, were able to exploit that. They always go after the shiny new object. To be fair, by winning back-to-back national championships, Hurley’s shine was the brightest of all, but they let two seasons define him rather than his entire now 15-year D1 coaching career.
Are they all in on Belichick?Tar pit Premium is kind of fun with the Coach search stuff right now

Why is it surprising? Eliminating the ZZL-P (and all political discussion to focus on sports) was just a ruse to get a bunch of liberals off the boards. They don’t mind politics, they just want the political discussion to be more in tune with the right wing news bubble.Given our ongoing coaching search I thought I'd peruse the free Tar Pit board over at IC just to see what they had to say - I hadn't been on that board in a good while. And on the coaching search thread they had a debate/insult fest between posters going on over "woke history". I thought all political discussions were banned on IC, but apparently not. I checked further and saw a surprising amount of politically-related posts scattered around the sports boards and ZZL. I knew they'd never completely get rid of politics there, lol.
Reminds me of the Hubert-Stack split of a few years ago.Its split
I remember Wes Miller being a favorite too.Reminds me of the Hubert-Stack split of a few years ago.
You tell us, you are over there posting all the timeWondering how much traffic they have on the board there now that we have this new and improved ZZL.
