I think a lot of the problem is that most Pubs are really bad at thinking beyond the surface level of any issue. It shows up in a lot of the things they believe and do.

So, on the surface, it looks like a surefire "gotcha", but completely falls apart at second level consideration...but Pubs largely lack the ability to get that far in their internal thought process.

Body cameras are something Republicans and democrats should come together on. Police are always resistant to them and then police end up being some of their biggest fans when they get to show the judge how a suspect behaved.

Honestly pretty surprised we aren't seeing more cell phone recordings of protester behavior. You know that there are going to be some nuts out there behaving badly and you know that there are folks in the Trump administration that would love to exploit that.
