Stanford Game Biorhythms, 2:15 start time.

I didn't see it, either. I was coaching my son's rec league team. No since in watching it now.

I can summarize the final 30 seconds for you. Carolina ball with the shot clock turned off, down 1. Drive to the bucket with 10 seconds left and draw a foul. Make two free throws. Up 1 with 7 seconds left. Stanford inbounds and runs essentially uncontested up the court for a 4-foot jumper with one second left.

Yeah, I saw the score on the ESPN app and what happened at the end. Ridiculous.

But it shouldn't even be close against a team like that at home.

This was a very bad loss to a team that didn't look as bad as their losses ... unless, of course, Wake, Clemson, and Pitt are light-years better than us. That center was the best one I've seen against us this season after the Auburn center. He did make a couple of bad three-point shot decisions down the stretch, but for the most part, he was really strong.

The other major factor in the loss was that Jackson was off today. Shots he normally hits weren't falling.

They probably are.

Horrible gameplan and no sense of urgency. Probably costs them their season

Nothing at all to change momentum. Let Stanford dictate the second half

Cannot believe we didn't see more Powell/Withers and bigger lineups

This x1000. We abandoned transition basketball or even pushing the pace in favor of HD’s set plays the last 5 min or so.

That’s the equivalent of them calling us a Yankee. I’m pretty sure he’ll be OK.
No, it's not. If you can find me any sports franchise in France called the Frogs, and a kids song akin to Yankee Doodle Dandy (using Frog instead of Yankee), then maybe it's the same. But there aren't any of those, of course.

Of course he will be OK. Just like if you called Lebron the n* word. It doesn't make it right. Ethnic slurs are just wrong, period. I don't know why this is even a discussion.

1. We got the matchup we wanted. Trimble was guarding him. He got beat. That's not on the coaches.
2. It was not a 4 foot jumper. And it was falling away. It was not a really tough shot but it wasn't a gimme. It was at best a 50/50 shot.

I’d rather be called a frog than a douche.

There is a competitive bicycling team in Paris called the frogs. Most French don’t find the term offensive. They have their own terms for us. I‘d think being called a douche would be more offensive than being called a frog.
