Tariffs Catch-All

My company is headquartered in Texas. I have my beliefs as to how the ELT voted...

But every meeting over this last year discusses how tariffs have cost the company money and changed the strategic planning.

It really bothers me that I'm sure they voted for this shit.

I assume-with little knowledge-that is a way to invoke some random all but dead law to call for Tarriffs?

It is, but the law is neither random nor all but dead. It's been used a few times recently and not only by Trump, IIRC. Obama used it for Chinese tires, if I recall correctly.

But for the record, inflation as a result of his stupid tariffs was going to be the second point.
