Yes, and I don't really hold it against Hendricks Motors .... they had the vehicles in stock, got an inquiry, got an order and delivered the vehicles. That's what they are in business to do. The issue is with the procurement process, it was a no-bid requisition.

I would be both "unfamiliar with Whatley" and have an "unfavorable" opinion of him.

I don't know much about him, but if you voluntarily associate with the Republican Party in 2025, I justifiably question your intelligence and your morals.
 
What is the point of city by city operations? I had assumed when Trump was elected in November 2024 that ICE would conduct sweeps all over the country for four years at a much stepped up pace. Instead, it appears that ICE is just doing operations in different cities.

There is no possible way that Donald Trump will meet his goal of one million arrests in one year if he continues the city by city surge approach.

Do the board pubs not realize how ineffective the current method of "policing" is? If you want to enforce federal immigration law, you should be doing all across the country all the time. A city by city approach appears to be geared exclusively to getting the local media to cover the story.

People will learn to just stay home for two weeks and wait for the operation to end.

The object is not so much to round up bad guys as it is to give a big F you to immigrants, terrorize them basically

The obvious answer is they don’t have the resources and manpower to scale in the maximally fascist way. Hence the massive injection of funds in OBBBA.
