I don't think Kilmeade should be fired for that. I think he and Fox should be shamed in the court of public opinion and his statement should be further evidence that anyone with even a semblance of a moral core should never get within 10 channels of Fox News, but I'm kind of glad they're now saying the quiet part out loud. Makes it harder for Pubs to deny what MAGA is really all about.
I get your point and did not expect that Fox would remove him ( It would offend Trump ). That said, I think Kilmeade and Fox have been shamed in the court of public opinion that resides on earth 1

I was hoping MAGAs like Calla and ram might join us on earth 1, but unlike the lib members here who condemned the shooting of Kirk, our MAGA board members don't dare criticize a host on Fox for advocating that the government authorize murdering mentally ill and homeless Americans.

I'm holding out hope for Calla. He seems to be where I was (and where I suspect CFord and a few others here were) around 2013-14. You eventually realize you're sick and tired of stretching all limits of logic and morality to defend your team at all costs. And when you open your mind to the idea that the other team may have better ideas (and better morals) than yours, the shift can happen quickly. Some people will never open their minds to that possibility. I fear Ram may be in that camp. But I don't think it's fait accompli for all of them.

Kilmeade's comment was bizarre - so out there that it's almost like he was trying to make a really bad joke (which he often does). Plus, it was an offhand remark unlike JK's comments which were a part of his monologue.

Or the constant barrage of, “we are at WAR with THEM!”

Comedian = serious.

"News" host = joking.

This is what I was talking about in a different post. At some point, it has to become exhausting stretching all semblance of logic and morality to defend one's team. That's what drove me away from the GOP a decade ago.

He's just an unserious POS

Two homeless people were murdered (and others attacked) the day after Kilmeade’s comments. Don’t know if they are related, but worth noting.

C'mon ram

If you watched the discussion, one guy said a solution was to take the homeless and mentally ill off the street and put them in jail to which Kilmeade responded with a very serious look on his face " or give them lethal injections".

Now maybe his deadpan response was to mock the idea of throwing them in jail which would be an ironic comedic response, but I have never thought of Kilmeade as a comedian. However, giving him the benefit of the doubt, he should have at least mentioned in his "sorry sorry sorry " apology that it was a joke meant to mock the other guy's cruel suggestion that mentally ill and homeless people should be put in jail.

You know better and your attempt to defend this is sad and disappointing.
