Far more inflammatory, No. Inflammatory? Yes. Inflammatory is inflammatory and subjective. I agree that Fox is msnbc and will lie, half lies, misconstrue, etc. when they think it benefits them. JK wasn't being comedic when he said what he said. He hasn't been comedic in years although his line about trump and the goldfish was pretty funny.

A big difference in all this is that fox is very profitable and has big ratings and kisses trump's ass. JK isn't profitable and has poor ratings and is often negative. Does that justify fcc threats? Not at all. ABC should have had the courage to can JK when he became a total political hack and pissed off half the country but they didn't have the stones to do it. Now trump has given them the opportunity they likely are glad to have and trump is the bad guy.

JK must have said more than what I have seen, then. And I admit that I haven’t kept up much with those particular details.
Could you post the absolute worst thing he said about Kirk? Thanks.

Ah yes, media companies always welcome threats of rescinding their licenses and/or blocking their mergers as ways for them to make personnel decisions. Trump is always such an accommodating force for good, isn't he?

Can't see DL ever making the comment JK did, especially after the evidence that was known about the shooter. JK chose to go down the path he did and is in a true FAFO moment. He is solely responsible for his ratings. Again, I'm not justifying trump using the threats, just that ABC felt JK wasn't worth fighting for. I bet NBC would have told trump to eat a dick if he had gone after DL.

In this case, not at all. But if JK had been a desirable asset for ABC they sure as hell would have fought trump in court. Clearly what trump is doing wouldn't stand up in court. ABC didn't feel it was worth it or needed to be on trump's side for something beneficial to them in the future. They can jettison a problem, play the victim (which they are, but a willing victim) and not be the bad guy. This is a win for ABC

Not to mention, it's true. MAGA does this with every shooter/attacker now and convinces themselves that even obvious right wingers like Vance Boelter and the guy who smashed Paul Pelosi's head with a hammer are leftists.
