You can identify as intelligent but you sure as fuck ain't that either.

Why do you doubt medical science on this? Are there other areas where you think doctors are full of shit? Like, if you go see the doctor for a heart issue and he prescribes beta blockers or statins, do you say, "you live in a fantasy world motherfucker?" Or it just this one issue? If it's just this one issue, then it's not just skepticism -- you are actively asserting that you know more about the human body than doctors.

Which makes you a grade A moron.

A September 10, 2025 YouGov poll found that in the immediate aftermath of the Kirk shooting 72% of Americans said violence is never justified, while 11% said it can be sometimes justified. The question asked respondents was whether they think "it is ever justified for citizens to resort to violence in order to achieve political goals." Liberals more likely to say that violence is sometimes justified.

25% of respondents who identified as "very liberal" said violence can sometimes be justified to achieve political goals.

17% of those who identified as "liberal" agreed

9% of moderates agreed

6% of conservatives

3% of very conservative.

Younger Americans were also more likely to say political violence can be justified.

25% of liberals under 45 years agreed with this statement.

So that's 25% of the 11% that said that "violence" (which isn't exclusive to murder) were very liberal?

I'd really have to read this "poll" as this doesn't align at all with my social media feeds. Yes there are some idiots who celebrate, the majority are saying murder is wrong. The groups I see advocating payback or war or "awaking the army of god" are conservative.

Of course most of them, like you appear to be doing, ignore the data that the majority of mass shootings are committed by white men.

I also think that the ones posting these things are outliers on both ends of the spectrum. Most people have to much going on trying to live, they don't have time for retribution for a talking head.

I had no idea how influential Kirk was on the right. I had no idea how "big" he was. Even if you account for the fact that people tend to exaggerate the value, positive traits, etc of the deceased, what's happening is truly shocking to me.

This event will be used nonstop to increase all the horrors of the Trump Cult and regime, and the focus will be to criminalize all criticism of them. They will use it a hundred times more than they did the attempt on Trump last year.

My only point is we need more data points if we want to paint this guy with any sort of political stripe.
I know a guy (extremely active in politics) whose first choice for 2016 election was Bernie Sanders, but who voted for Trump in the general election. Saying a person is liberal or conservative based upon one singular issue is folly.

I recall reading a quote from one of Robinson's friends saying that Robinson was a supporter of the 2nd amendment. Couldn't tell you which article it was from though.
