In reference to time not changing some songs, this song has lost all context. Still a hell of a song and Teye is a hell of a guitarist.

he just needs to change the lyrics:

I ain't been sleepin', I ain't been eatin'
I've been on pins and needles, waitin' by my cell phone
You better text me, you better text me
I've been on pins and needles, waitin' by my cell phone
You better text me or I'll go crazy

Saw The Acacia Strain last night in Greensboro. Incredibly fun show. Metal shows are normally total sausage fests, but there was a noticeably high number of normal-looking women there, even though The Acacia Strain is one of the angriest/heaviest bands around right now.

Beato’s fine and obviously knows a lot but is kind of overly serious for me. Yes, I get it, Led Zeppelin and the Beatles are the best to ever do it. Thanks for making another video about how great their chord progressions are.

It’s a different lane, but Pat Finnerty has a series of videos called What Makes This Song Stink that I enjoy. I think most of you would probably enjoy his brand of humor too, super irreverent.

This is a shorter one that kills me. Legitimately one of the funnier things I’ve seen on the internet:

He’s funny to be sure. But the self confessed long videos are indeed just that…too long. I watched the short one first which is hilarious no doubt.
I started to watch the longer this song stinks… and I gave it my best shot… about 20 minutes worth… and it is funny. He definitely has a style to his gab which is humorous. And he’s irreverent in all the right places. He’s obviously got Beato living rent free in his head - and he gives Beato the shit - and perhaps legitimately so. I’m guessing he doesn’t give 2 fucks about giving anybody or any band a jab or two, so he’s an equal opportunity shit-giver. I can certainly see why you tagged this guy on a Beato post. Appropriately enough. BTW, a load of Beato vids are too long too! No time for all that.

Any musicians on this thread?
Instrument(s)?
Singer perhaps?
Do you read music or play by ear? Both?
Write music/compose?
Studied or self-taught?
Still in a band/ever played in a band?
Where did you get the talent (mother or father or both... perhaps neither)?
If we started your car and turned on the radio to the station it's on right now - what would we hear?
Were you a "band nerd" in middle/high school, or are/were you strictly a 4 chord Charlie on guitar?

I have no musical talent at all.

If you turned on my car, the radio is almost a 100% cinch to be on Outlaw Country on Sirius XM.
