Don't know enough to place him techically but he composed a significent number of differing musical scores that are part of the songbook. From Breakfast at Tiffany's to this goodie.
Igorrr is the stage name for a musical genius named Gutierre Serre, a hyper skilled musician whose style is something out of prog metal, more aptly baroque metal. The rabbit hole should you investigate him and the great musicians he works with is deep, and there are no more skilled people represented in this thread. This zenith skilled mania music is not for everyone, but I like a lot of stuff others would never come in contact with. That’s some wild shit right there. Kinda sorta like what we have going on here in America right now. Some wild shit. Gotta be keyboard, electronic and computer generated music track? No?
You must listen to this one, or your life will be incomplete in ways untold. For one thing you'll miss out on the nightmare bluegrass at the end.
I've been listening to a lot of the electroswing coming out of Europe. Sort of a mix of blues, swing and electronic music.
RIP Jesse Colin Young. Best known for Come Together with the Youngbloods. His solo stufff riffs into the jazz world a bit. My favorite and another. @Centerpiece i think you'll like ridgetop.
I hadn’t realized Jesse had passedRIP. Jesse Colin Young.
The big hit as The Youngbloods was “Get Together” (not Come Together) but I always forget the name of that tune. I always refer to it as Come on People Now (let’s get together try to love one another right now).
A classic, and huge hit.
Thanks grimes

I'm a big fan of Rickie Lee Jones and had a front row seat to see her performance at the Art Center in the People's Republic of Carrboro.
After few songs, she looked out at us and quipped, "Nice little place you have here. Glad to be here tonight and hope to get another gig in the future"
We know her eponymous album is the classic, but her performance at Red Rocks was amazing and allowed her band to shine.
Here she is covering my favorite artist
Chuck was a pretty strange guy.Chuckie's in Love was big at the time my brother Chuck got engaged. Girl I was dating would always start off when seeing him humming or singing it with a sh*t eating grin. He hated the song.![]()
