It's a hot summer in the Southern Part of Heaven and so I'm playing beach music as I run errands this afternoon. There are so many great artists...Jerry Butler, Billy Stewart, the Tams and on and on

Old codgers will understand and hope to intrigue youngsters into investigating beach music

Hard for me to choose my favorite out of so many great songs, but this is mine

one of the great songs of all time... Lou Reed never broke through as a "commercial" superstar but he and his Velvet Underground were the avant - garde band of the day
