But the problem is all of the idiots out there that believe everything he says. This is another example of FAFO when all those poor red states that put him office start crying about their federal dollars for education go away and their schools get even worse than they already are
They won’t blame Trump for that, they’ll blame the schools. That’s been baked in for the last decade.

Maybe they think they can all get vouchers for charter schools where they can get an even worse education and the schools don't even have to follow any rules.

That's a feature, not a bug.

How is none of this setting off major alarms within both parties? I guaran-cotdamn-tee you if this was a Dem thing, the 25th would be invoked by now. What the actual phuck.
One party has enough power to write a strongly worded letter. The other party would murder their own mothers for power and wouldn't think twice about changing the rules so that the first party goes to jail for mailing said letter.

America is done. Once again, I advise all who have the ability to leave to get out while you can.

“… Concerns have mounted at the Education Department all week. Members of Elon Musk’s team reportedly have accessed sensitive department data, and some members of Congress went to department headquarters to question the team but were denied access. Responding to the social media posts of one representative who was blocked from the building, Musk posted on X: “No such department exists in the federal government.” …”

Musk is treating the federal government like a private equity transaction. Step #1: reduce expenses to bare minimum by cutting everything that can be cut.
What's Step #2? I assume privatizing and selling various responsibilities. If PE is any indicator, government debt will be addressed as well. Edited to add: I would not hold treasuries right now.
