Trump at the UN | Escalatorgate!!!

No, Donald Trump is the joke. That speech was an epic disaster, no matter how many MAGAs try to defend it. Telling other nations that their countries are going to hell while he's been "really good" at running the USA (LOL), rambling on with complaints about how the UN didn't hire him to develop the UN building, bragging that he's ended seven "unendable" wars and deserves a Nobel Peace Prize, threatening a technician during his speech because his microphone wasn't working - it's all just a PR nightmare for the USA. And neither he nor his idiot followers care. We're completely shredding our hard-won global reputation and I'm not sure if any future POTUS can get it back at this point. But just a head-shaking disaster of a speech, no question.
The problem for a future president will be even if he can restore some of our international good will that we have built over the last 80 years (and Trump has destroyed in the last 8 months(come on MAGAs tell me I’m wrong)), the rest of the world will be thinking in the back of their minds (if the USA can elect a stupid motherfucker like this they can do it again). No one will ever trust us again.

Amen. I've often thought that spending eternity with the likes of Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, and now Charlie Kirk, would be a special kind of hell.
I don't think that any of those "esteemed" gentlemen would ever be raptured, or are currently residing in the place where their followers think they are.

Exactly. Had Kamala won last year and Trump finally been dispatched for good, then the damage caused by Trump in his first term would likely have been mitigated. But by electing this complete dumbass for a second term it has likely sealed our fate regarding our international reputation, I'm afraid. As you said, even if we elected an internationally popular leader like Obama, then all most people in other countries will think is "they're probably going to elect another incompetent bumbling buffoon next time" and we'll never really be trusted again, at least not for a long time.

The npc magas will forever twist themselves into knots. It goes without saying. As we all know, the political metric analysts have established that there's a segment of the population that will vote and defend white republican supremacy until they die. Hillary called them deplorable and they wanted her dead. Trump called them dumb and they worshipped him.

BREXIT presaged Trump 1.0, so something of a BREXIT 2.0 if they hand the reins to Farage.
Yeah, Brexit has been a disaster for the UK and accounts for a good many of the problems they're currently experiencing - it was a completely self-inflicted wound. But if they're dumb enough to elect Farage then they deserve everything bad that will certainly happen, just as we do for electing Dear Leader again. If passing Brexit was like the UK cutting off its own arm, then electing Farage will be shooting themselves in the head, or maybe their ass, to compound their wounds and misery.

💯

Even by Trump standards, he said some of the most stupid-ass shit imaginable.
Yep, even for him his speech yesterday about how Tylenol causes autism in babies and women just need to suck it up and deal with the pain to own the libs, and then this epic disaster today were off the charts even for him. Our transformation to complete world laughingstock is finally complete. There were so many crazy and offensive and unhinged things in today's speech that it would take many paragraphs to list them all. I'm surprised that the delegates didn't just openly laugh and mock him during the speech, but I guess that many of them were just in shock. It's been an incredibly rude descent from Obama's dignity and eloquence to whatever the hell is floating through Trump's addled and warped brain at any given moment.

I'm pretty convinced that Watters is just playing a character and doesn't believe 90% of what he says.

He's like a villain in professional wrestling, saying whatever stupid things come to his brain to get cheap heat.

Unlike O'Reilly and Tucker before him, I don't think he's trying to be serious at all. in fact, I'd put him closer to a performance artist like Andy Kaufman than anything like an actual journalist.
Agreed, but I do think he combines the worst of O'Reilly and Carlson into one persona - he's got the blowhard smarmy opinions and leering at his female coworkers vibes of O'Reilly combined with the crazy conspiracy loon thinking and mockery of a Carlson. And he's worse than both if that's possible. Every time Fox fires the host in that 8 PM slot they've managed to find someone even worse to replace them, which is quite a feat. If they keep this up one can only wonder what crass, vulgar, and trashy reality tv show they'll get their next host from.

Maybe, just maybe, God is so pissed at Trump for being such a shit human being in every way possible that he's yanking his chain now. But MAGA will never believe that God would prank his co-equal Chosen One for such treatment, so it's got to somehow be the libs who are behind this outrage.

Thank God Kamala wasn’t elected.
