Most definitely. It’s why he’s had a continuous mini-boner since J6,Trump really seems pleased with the notion that people would kill for him.
Not for their country, not because it's their duty... For him.
So you're against DEI now?He literally does not meet the legal qualifications in the statute that creates the position and requires a waiver. The statute requires the person appointed have served either as the Deputy Chairman, as the Chief of Staff of their branch, or as a joint unified combatant commander (commander for an entire theater like INDOPACOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM, etc.). He has not held any of those positions, and as a 3 star hasn’t ever even been close to holding them. This isn’t just an argument about subjective qualifications, the guy legally requires a waiver because he fails to meet statutory qualifications. He also subjectively is unqualified. No 3 Star is anywhere near ready to be chairman, much less one that has been retired and is out on the golf course.
The ones I posted, basically his resumeCan you read?
DEI has never meant ignoring the actual qualifications of the candidates in favor of other considerations. This is not DEI in any sense. So you're against DEI now?
And where can you point to DEI hires where minimum qualification levels have been waived? So you're against DEI now?
Yeah ok. Nothing about qualified in its definition.DEI has never meant ignoring the actual qualifications of the candidates in favor of other considerations. This is not DEI in any sense.
If you require a waiver of the qualifications to obtain a position, QED, you are not qualified for the position.
They're doing everything they can to make Petey ,our SoD, the one eyed man in the land of the blind.DEI has never meant ignoring the actual qualifications of the candidates in favor of other considerations. This is not DEI in any sense.

Hey, at least you’ve backed away from the idiotic argument a three star is qualified for a position for which he is, by definition, not qualified. Progress I guess. Now on to the next straw man.Yeah ok. Nothing about qualified in its definition.
In the United States, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are organizational frameworks that seek to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all people, particularly groups who have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination based on identity or disability.
Diversity refers to the presence of variety within the organizational workforce in characteristics such as gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, age, culture, class, veteran status, or religion. Equity refers to concepts of fairness and justice, such as fair compensation and substantive equality. Finally, inclusion refers to creating an organizational culture that creates an experience where "all employees feel their voices will be heard."
Why are you discriminating against 3 stars?
Military rank is not a characteristic listed in that definition. And for this job, it's a qualification. Your argument is akin to asking why hospitals discriminate against people who don't have medical degrees when hiring doctors. In other words, it is a stupid argument.Yeah ok. Nothing about qualified in its definition.

He doesn't meet the requirements, but he's qualified. Starting to understand how dumb the DEI argument is now?Hey, at least you’ve backed away from the idiotic argument a three star is qualified for a position for which he is, by definition, not qualified. Why does it matter? A rose by any other name...SDG's posts have a very BA2007 or Thtags tone to them. Could it be? I'm just asking questions....
DEI/ affirmative action definitely skips over more qualified candidates and lowers standards for those that check a demographic boxMilitary rank is not a characteristic listed in that definition. If there was any similarity between those things, I guess you might have a point. Alas.He doesn't meet the requirements, but he's qualified. Starting to understand how dumb the DEI argument is now?
Is that how you got here?DEI/ affirmative action definitely skips over more qualified candidates and lowers standards for those that check a demographic box
Let me guess — was it the correlation and association section of the SAT that kept you from getting into UNC?DEI/ affirmative action definitely skips over more qualified candidates and lowers standards for those that check a demographic box
