What about looking at the law and military regulations on the use of force against civilians? Remember, the former SecDef refused to order troops to shoot protestors in the legs under Trump’s first regime. I have no doubt that Hegseth with the right lawyers won’t share that restraint next time.

The three service JAGs that Pete Hegseth fired last night would have been the guard rails.

Worth paying attention to but it will probably be impossible to figure out why Caine left the military for a few months only to be returned trump’s CJC. Hopefully this is not as nefarious as it can easily be framed to appear.

Because 3 stars are a dime a dozen in the Pentagon. That is not a qualification to be CJCS.
 
Firing the first black CJCS and first woman NCO (as well as a number of other female and minority officers) is a terrible look, no matter how they try to spin it. And just as bad is who they chose to replace these people with. Yet our usual suspects here will defend, excuse, and rationalize no matter what. Yet everything they said wouldn't happen is indeed happening just as many here predicted.

As I said, people like you will defend this no matter what. He fired a black general he said was too "woke" and replaced him with a clearly less-qualified white person. And he fired the first woman to be NCO. So I guess she was too "woke" too. Is there anything Trump does that you won't try to defend or excuse in some way?

You have to prove racism was a factor. We don't need govt programs playing referee. You can go to court and provide evidence of discrimination. Or if you're like me and people of color are being discriminated against and are over qualified ill be glad to hire them. The left wants to play referee way too much and are doing more harm than good.

Like I said, there is nothing that Trump 2.0 does that you won't defend. Enjoy twisting yourself into pretzels over the next few years trying to defend this shit. My guess is that you'll quit posting here long before he leaves office rather than try to continue to defend and excuse what's coming.

I mean, what other reasons come into play when you fire a vastly more qualified minority in favor of a categorically unqualified white guy?

And not to put too fine a point on it, but when the guy who is doing the firing's right-hand man is throwing out Nazi salutes in public, I am going to go ahead and assume racial animus.

And there's nothing you give him credit for. If this is your gotcha moment, I've got news for you most Americans don't care. This is a small issue everyone will forget. Most Americans trust Trump more on keeping America safe and handling the military than they do with Biden and Kamala. Thats the big picture here.
