I was just saying that there would have been no point trying to get an indictment. I don't really have an opinion about the perjury itself. I certainly don't feel as strongly about it as you do, but I can respect that. That's a question of ought. The practical question is "will pursuing an indictment be worth the time,?" To me the answer is pretty clearly no.

I’m of the opinion that trying a guy like Clinton for perjury would have been worth it……the schmuck was guilty. Democrats would have benefited from trying him……even if the result was a hung jury or an acquittal.

Democrats were going to be excoriated for “letting Slick Willie go.”

The eighties were weird.
Just finished the Pee-Wee documentary and he got crucified for bullshit charges of masturbating and obscenity. He wasn't a pedophile but Trump was and gets a pass. Glad this charge stuck.
