Musk saying we need to increase H1B spots. I wouldn't agree with this if still using the random lottery system we currently have - where most spots are taken by Indian owned 'consulting firms' (aka bodyshops). I liked the idea that was previously floated of filling the spots ranked by salaries of the positions (highest to lowest) rather than flooding the market with a bunch of cheap entry level workers.

Translation -

Musk doesn't want to pay people what they're worth. He wants to import workers to pay a fraction of what he would pay others, and threaten them with deportation if they don't meet with his approval.

Bonus points if he can house them on site and pay them in company scrip.

I love that idea. I also think it should be much easier for those guys to switch companies. If companies need to treat h1b holders like human beings to keep them, the foreign workers are more on par with the demands of US citizen workers. Then the only real reason to hire them is that they are more talented and not just easier to exploit.

That's it, Bezos. Just let those right-wing shitbirds have a platform in your paper to agree with every crazy Trump idea. Enjoy your tax cuts, asshole.
At this point it would be interesting to compile a list of legacy and social media sites that could still be classified as liberal-leaning or even centrist-leaning, and compare it with all of the pro-Trump right-wing networks, including legacy networks that have moved right in the past few years, like Politico, the WaPo, and LA Times. My guess is that the list of truly centrist or left-leaning networks (especially those that are willing to challenge Trump) is growing awfully thin.

According to the local trump crowd they are all liberal and don't give poor little trump a fair shake.

What idea? He didn’t present any actual idea.
