Bullshit. You don't have any regard for any trump supporters. Make your fortune. I dare you.
You're 100% wrong about that. I doubt anyone on this board (including the Trump enthusiasts) is as morally bankrupt as one has to be to leverage those folks the way Trump does. He is quite frankly one of the worst humans I've ever watched over a long period of time.

Good luck trying to ever realize that $25 billion. By the time any significant amount was offered for sale, the price would crater.

But also, this is a good counter to all those people who try to claim Trump lost money by running for president.
Yep. Market cap is a misleading number in these things.

Trump will likely make a few million out of this.

Canada’s Plan for a Trade War: Pain for Red States and Trump Allies

Canadian officials are preparing retaliatory measures if the new U.S. administration imposes tariffs on Canadian imports.

“… The Canadian officials said their choice of goods was meant to be precisely targeted and aimed at political impact. They specifically want to focus on goods made in Republican or swing states, where the pain of tariffs, like pressure on jobs and the bottom lines of local businesses, would affect Trump allies. …”

" And Canada exports vital commodities to the United States. Some 80 percent of Canada’s oil and 60 percent of its natural gas are exported to the United States. More than half of the oil imported into the United States comes from Canada.

A third and final level of escalation if a trade war between the U.S. and Canada escalates and which the Canadian government is eager to avoid would restrict the export of sensitive commodities worth hundreds of billions of dollars, including oil and gas, potash, uranium and critical minerals. All are exports that are crucial to the United States "

President Trump Promotes Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier to Under Secretary of the Air Force After He Was Fired in 2021 for Making Anti-Marxist Comments in Podcast in 2021

IMG_4609.jpeg
“… Lohmeier came to public prominence in 2021, when he self-published a book alleging that Marxist ideology had become widespread in the military. In the book and a subsequent podcast appearance, he criticized the Pentagon’s diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and claimed conservative viewpoints were being silenced among senior leaders.

Then-Lt. Gen. Stephen N. Whiting removed Lohmeier from his post as commander of 11th Space Warning Squadron, over a loss of confidence in his ability to lead. A spokesperson said at the time that the decision was based on his podcast comments. Whiting is now the four-star commander of U.S. Space Command, one of the U.S. military’s 11 combatant commands.

Shortly after being fired, Lohmeier separated from the military. Since, he briefly hosted his own podcast and became a regular guest on others, keeping up his criticism of the military’s leadership. …”

Somewhat hilariously (?), that handle is a Tom Homan fan/hardcore anti-immigration poster, but Trump reposted it anyway.

I suspect that going after blue states and blue local city and county governments in red states (say, like Charlotte or Houston) will be a top priority of Trump 2.0. It generates the conflict that they love so much while delighting their base who get to see liberal politicians being overruled and their complaints not only ignored but openly trolled and ridiculed, and they hope it will generate general liberal outrage on social media which they can then feed and show to their base, who will be overjoyed.

Compared to Trump's first election in 2016 opposition - especially vocal opposition - to Trump has been very muted this time around, I suspect because many Trump opponents are just disgusted and have taken a break or even walked away from politics, perhaps for good. And with more and more of the media in their pockets I'm not sure that we'll actually see the level of outrage at Trump policies that we saw in his first term, which will likely befuddle his supporters and right-wing social media trolls.
