None of us know what her situation is. Whatever it is I’m sure it’s heartbreaking for her and the many in similar circumstances. What do you do? Give her special treatment because you saw her on a video posted to evoke the emotions you are displaying? There has to be a stopping point somewhere. I don’t feel bad for her specifically. I feel badly for all who will experience that disappointment but there has to be a new beginning point and she would have an opportunity at that time. That sucks but there was always going to be some pain involved. Trump didn’t create the border shit show but he campaigned on cleaning it up and there was an overwhelming amount of public support for undoing Biden’s mess. There are going to be thousands or hundreds of thousands of sad and emotionally difficult cases. Unfortunately we find ourselves in this situation because of Joe and Kamala. Place the blame where it is deserved“But that doesn't mean that lady won't be getting in either.”
Put yourself in “that lady’s” shoes.
You has waited in line for quite some time to legally request asylum, only to be turned away minutes before taking the first step to legal citizenship. How would you feel about the statement, “How would I have any idea what the new protocol will be? Hell, they likely dont know either.”
What do you do now? Where do you go? How much hope do you have of realizing your dream of becoming an American citizen, and escaping whatever it is that led you to seek asylum in the first place?
If you were in her shoes, would you be so flippant about your chances of entering the country legally, at some unforeseen point in the future, for some currently unknown “new protocol”?
If the US has no jurisdiction over people here temporarily, how can they enforce any law regarding them? So they can commit murder and get away with it, because the US has no jurisdiction?
That’s not legal. You should know thatCan we deport everyone who voted for Trump to Siberia?
You gonna answer the question I've asked you half a dozen times or dodge it like every other Trump fanboy on here? That’s not legal. You should know that
What question? I answered everything you have asked me.You gonna answer the question I've asked you half a dozen times or dodge it like every other Trump fanboy on here?
What is it that you see as being so different about the border now than has been the case for the last 40+ years? What question? I answered everything you have asked me.
It did, and in a new wrinkle, orangeturd is getting Canada to pay for it.I did not listen to orangeturd Did a new Wall come up???
This won’t stand and made his actions as bad and dumb as Biden’s when he added ERA to the constitutionContinued
“… In another order issued on Monday, Mr. Trump declared that his government would no longer treat the U.S.-born children of undocumented people as citizens, signaling his intention to essentially ignore the constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship.
… The move would amount to an extraordinary change of the 157-year-old 14th Amendment, and within hours it prompted a lawsuit from the American Civil Liberties Union.
Mr. Trump cannot abolish birthright citizenship on his own. Any change to the Constitution requires supermajority votes in Congress, and then ratification by three-quarters of the states.
But denying certain immigrants’ children of citizenship documents would effectively mean that they could be barred from using public services, which could have the same effect as abolishing the right. …
Mr. Trump signed an order that rescinded an array of former President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s immigration policies, including one that established a task force to reunite families separated by Mr. Trump’s zero-tolerance policy.
Another restored Mr. Trump’s efforts to withhold federal funds from local agencies that refuse to cooperate with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. …”
