Find a better place to send them, tell them there's no space here (NYC) and they will be transported to a better option.
These are more the people you need to talk to and those like them.

For five months, Gov. Greg Abbott bused migrants to Democrat-led cities to draw attention to the number of people arriving at the Texas border.

He began with Washington, D.C., then expanded the busing to New York and Chicago. At least 11,000 migrants have been removed from the state, by all accounts voluntarily.

But an attempt by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to deploy the same tactics last week took the issue to another level, when the state flew planes to Texas, allegedly lured migrants onto the flights by promising jobs, housing and services and a free trip to Boston, and then left those migrants in Martha’s Vineyard, an island resort town about 100 miles away. Three of those migrants have now sued DeSantis in federal court.

"As someone that appears to understand the need for checks and balances, and accountability, you cant really be ok with him completely ignoring the guard rails in place to keep the US from becoming a dictatorship, correct?"

Correct that I'm not in favor of a dictator regardless on any party affiliation (fully support 2 term limit for potus) and believe very strongly in checks and balances including not eliminating the filibuster.
Okay, we are back on track. Let’s discuss this and the present administration.

Then I don't understand some of the support for actions where he is clearly overstepping the guidelines of the office?

And I'm pretty sure that it's the judicial system that determines what's legitimate.
You aren’t supposed to actually think about it. Vance stating that the court me are fine so long as he agrees with them (as if he’d admit his administration’s actions are illegitimate) is functionally no different than saying courts shouldn’t exist.

You are the very definition of woke. You are also the definition of people who were repudiated in the election. So hate away. You are now an afterthought and hopefully will be further neutered over the next 4 years. If I had just been relegated to the trash heap and deemed useless by a majority of voters I'd be angry too. You would be lucky not to shit your pants while holding a gun barney

So, are you against individual liberties? People being free to be who they are? (I'm not talking about pedophiles here)

How are we really a free country, if the liberties we have change based on the party that's in power? We are not truly free if we are making laws and policies that specifically limit medical freedom, freedom to love who one wants, freedom to be who we are and live our best lives.

Call me woke, I don't care. I am for individual freedoms. I'm for a real free country, where everything from the marriage pulpit to the bedroom are regulated.

And that’s the difference between people like you, me, Lawtig, Chile, and several other folks in this community, and the poster to whom you are responding. We actually believe in and abide by our bedrock small government conservative principles of protection of individual liberty and personal freedom. We also believe that the executive is not a monarch, that the constitution is not situationally convenient, and that the judicial branch’s rulings are not to be followed or not followed based on our personal beliefs.

In your mind, how does the filibuster embody checks and balances.

Folks, can we move these debates to another thread and leave this one to its originally intended topic?

Speaking of cutting waste, trump just signed an order withdrawing from WHO.
Terrible decision made because Trump has to blame someone for his previous failures
There are those who work to fix the problem and then there are those who just want to affix the blame

And oh yeah

The World Health Organization (WHO) is guided by values that include integrity, professionalism, and respect for diversity.

These values are based on the principles of human rights, equity, and universality
