This has got to be one of the weirdest pieces of Trump merchandise I've seen. The cult is real.

It's not just that. The whole idea of a united and powerful German people with a history going back to Charlemagne is devoid of history and is little more than mythmaking.
I heard someone once say that all the wars in European history was about what was Germany.

You know the videos where the US troops blew up the swastika in the Nazi rally ground?

Blowing up Trump’s face on Mt Rushmore would make quite the ending for the documentary of the fall of American fascism.

Btw, I always thought that the Russians did that and it was at the parliament.

Trump's bragging about America needing to get bigger sounds eerily like a certain German political group claiming that Germany needed more "breathing room" in the 1920s and 1930s. He really does seem to want to bring back Manifest Destiny and American Imperialism.

William McKinley fought the Spanish-American War and gained us our first overseas colonies, and given his newfound love for McKinley maybe that's who Trump's trying to emulate. What he doesn't know (or likely care) about is that taking over the Philippines led to the Filipino Insurrection in which hundreds of thousands of Filipinos died trying to win their independence from the USA (and at least 12,000 US soldiers were killed crushing the rebellion). And it also led to all kinds of complications with Cuba which in many ways continue to bedevil us today.

Nobody here is going to argue against arresting violent immigrants and sending them back to their country of origin once they have completed their sentence.

Every administration has done that.
Great, but thats not what was expected by many, including many right here on this board. There are some on this board that said Trump and Homon were going to start deporting anyone they could find. That is not what is happening. Deporting extremely violent illegal immigrants was the point of the raids and will continue to be their targets.

If some around here had their way, those immigrants would still be on the loose, committing crime after crime. Just more scare tactics in an attempt to paralyze them with fear. And to knowingly participate in this type of rhetoric is disturbing and intellectually dishonest.

The problem is Trump and MAGA make it out like every immigrant is like this, when they only make up a small fraction of the crimes committed here. It's playing on irrational fear and racism.
That's a lie and their actions so far prove it. Stop being a chicken little. Regardless of how horrible you think the US is, the line to get in gets longer and the line to leave doesn't exist.
This is fun! Hope the Pubs here appreciate the humor of having armed federal agents show up at their kids' schools! It's like show-and-tell, but with assault rifles, right?

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents attempted entry into a Chicago elementary school Friday morning, but were not allowed inside or permitted to speak to anyone inside, Chicago Public Schools officials said.

Around 11:15 a.m., ICE agents attempted to enter Hamline Elementary School.

“School staff followed CPS established protocols,” CPS Chief Education Officer Bogdana Chkoumbova said in a news conference Friday. “They kept ICE agents outside of the school and contacted CPS law department and CPS Office of Safety and Security for further guidance. The ICE agents were not allowed into the school and were not permitted to speak to any students or staff members.”
Thats all a lie but carry on with the scare tactics. It was not ICE, you buffoon. The crow is ready for your consumption. Yall want something horrible to happen SOOOOO bad so yall can scream at the top of your lungs how awful Trump and his administration is.

There seems to be confusion here. Your response sounds like you believe I want to get rid of birthright citizenship completely. I definitely don't.

While I realize that the drafters of the 14th amendment discussed and debated most every aspect that they could, it's just not possible for them to be able to see into the future. They don't know what they don't know. There are just simply things that they could not have foreseen. For example, the ease with which we are able to travel from continent to continent. If it took weeks or months to get here, there would be no concern about pregnant women coming here to give birth. It would be too time consuming and probably too dangerous. They probably also couldn't have foreseen our current relationship with Mexico, Central and South America which compels pregnant women to risk their lives to get a few hundred yards into the US to have a child in the middle of the desert.
Now do the 2nd Amendment...and the 1st while you're at it....

He wants something that will leave a mark after he’s gone. Something that can’t be undone easily. Something he can put his name on. Unsurprising given his personality and past.

No doubt, and I agree, but it's still unnerving. McKinley didn't live in a world with nuclear missiles, and Trump certainly has shown no ability to learn from past mistakes - either his own or the nation at large.

Not just halt funding, but stop work:

“…Rubio’s guidance, issued to all diplomatic and consular posts, requires department staffers to issue “stop-work orders” on nearly all “existing foreign assistance awards,” according to the document, which was obtained by POLITICO. It is effective immediately.

… The guidance could open the U.S. government up to civil liability as lawsuits could be filed over unfulfilled contracts if the terms are deemed to have been violated, the current and former officials said, although at points it says the decisions need to be “consistent with the terms of the relevant award.” …”

“…….the guidance could open the U.S. government up to civil liability as law suits could be filed over unfulfilled contracts…..”

That’s viewed by MAGA and especially by Project 2025 as a feature and not a bug.

It’s part of the “break the government” agenda at the heart of Project 2025.

Anyone know what Trump said/proposed earlier today about reducing the price of groceries? I ask because my Trump cult member mother assured me that grocery prices were going to be coming down because of something Trump said/proposed.

And yes, I just laugh at my parents now when they start with the Trump nonsense. And I'm going to enjoy rubbing every bit of "I told you so" in their faces over the next 4 years.

1. There's no half way position. Birthright citizenship is all or nothing. If it's a half-measure, then it's not birthright.
2. Plenty of women came to the US and gave birth right when they got here. It wasn't particularly unusual.
3. The point that you seem to be unable to understand, and I will try to make this simple for you, is THEY DIDN'T CARE. This hysteria about "oh, no, women are coming here to give birth" did not bother them AT ALL because they understood that more Americans = a stronger America.
4. Do you really think pregnant women are walking into the desert to give birth? REALLY? How does that work? Woman shows up at a ranger station with a newborn and says, "I just gave birth to this child at this longitude/latitude so can I have a birth certificate please"?

1. They are deporting anyone they find. Did you read about the Newark raid?
2. It's been six days. It's pretty sad that you're so fucking insecure about your guy that you feel the need to somehow "debunk" something after 6 fucking days. I get that Trump has already broken pretty much the whole government, but that doesn't mean he's finished.

Lol. The entire world could be frozen in time this moment and libraries could be filled with the awful things Trump and his minions have done.

DHS? Federalized local LEO? Vigilantes? Liberal False flag?

Be kind of funny if the whole Post stor
