"One law firm that provided pro-bono legal services to the special counsel's office under Jack Smith's leadership was Covington and Burling," White House Staff Secretary Will Scharf said about the memo as Trump moved to sign it during a ceremony on Tuesday. I mean, to a point you are correct. Since I can't see any legit reason to discuss gangbangs and polygamy, as part of our national security, I find it very hard to believe they are using their time effectively.

If they want to spend every waking minute talking about those things outside of work, I could not possibly care less if I tried.

However, I don't think it's a coincidence that you instinctively dismissed the story, while instinctively giving the benefit of the doubt you those employees involved.

Not worried about what you see. You'd be over your head in a heavy dew. There could be plenty of reasons for discussing those, probably the most pertinent being leverage (blackmail), a new thing introduced to diplomacy and espionage about 40 centuries ago.
