Yep. One of many instances. And Obama was extremely cautious about using troops for domestic law enforcement. I think he only did it one time at the border.

He would send federal law enforcement to places like the guys occupying the national Park building and a related group that was fighting some sort of cattle grazing rights, but almost never troops. He got pilloried anyway. Activate FEMA for an incoming hurricane and you would have thought that the ghost of Himmler was coming to lock up their guns.

Trump open to invoking the Insurrection Act​

DHS is trying their hardest to light the tinder. They’re openly collaborating with far right influencers and edgelords, spraying peaceful people in the face with pepper spray, and flying helicopters and surveillance planes low and nonstop over wide stretches of the city. Got a sibling that lives about 15 min from the ice building, and says there hasn’t been more than a handful of hours in the last week without the drone of a chopper. PsyOps committed on an entire American city. Because the city is mostly liberal, in a state with Dem elected officials, a soft PR target, and nothing more.
