When you watch the video in full context, he's talking about neocons in Washington who are willing to send troops into needless wars. This wasn't a call to put Cheney in front of a firing squad, it was a remark that these politicians don't care about the horrors of war.
I get the context, but this is a good example of how WORDS MATTER. In a previous interview, Harris was discussing how she came to understand that her words had power early in her career as AG. Trump could have easily conveyed the same message without being this graphic. Like, "She's a war hawk, she'll never understand unless she was in combat" or something of that ilk. When you watch the video in full context, he's talking about neocons in Washington who are willing to send troops into needless wars. "The real concern here is that Trump saying Cheney should face down nine rifles will cause another one of his supporters to take a shot at Trump. Which is obviously Kamala's fault!"Yeah guys, it's okay for the person who has called his opponents "the enemy within" and talked about using the military to hunt them down to suggest that one of his outspoken critics should be facing nine rifles, because context.
I'm just saying... watch the full video. I look for the full video clip whenever the left or the right posts something like this. I know I'll probably get a bunch more "I'm gonna SUPER IGNORE YOU!!!" replies for this, but whatever.Yeah guys, it's okay for the person who has called his opponents "the enemy within" and talked about using the military to hunt them down to suggest that one of his outspoken critics should be facing nine rifles, because context.
You won't get any argument from me here. Trump has always been an idiot with his wording and messaging. He practically gift wraps these remarks to the Harris campaign.I get the context, but this is a good example of how WORDS MATTER. Trump is not anti war. Trump is pro executing his political rivals. I'm confident he was making a call to execute Cheney and dressing it up in plausible deniability, as he always does.I'm just saying... watch the full video. I've never voted for or supported Trump (I'm sure I'll get a bunch of replies about this claim too), and I can't wait for him to lose in a few days and be out of American politics, but Trump was making an anti-war stance here, not a call to execute Cheney.
I'd say he's about as anti-war as an isolationist would be.Trump is not anti war. Trump is pro executing his political rivals. I'm confident he was making a call to execute Cheney and dressing it up in plausible deniability, as he always does.
I do agree with you on this. Trump's not a true pacifist who would work to avoid war at all costs. He just has zero interest in using our military power to support our traditional allies or to prevent his autocratic friends around the world from doing whatever they want. But if you told Trump he could deploy the military to the southern border to shoot a bunch of migrants, or to inner city Chicago to gun down black and Latino gang members, he'd say yes before the sentence was finished.I'd say he's about as anti-war as an isolationist would be.
Nah, fuck that shit. There's no context needed. There are a trillion other ways to make the point that you claim that he was trying to make without saying what he said about Liz Cheney in particular. He doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. He is fascist, and his supporters want fascism to varying degrees. Full stop. When you watch the video in full context, he's talking about neocons in Washington who are willing to send troops into needless wars. Sure. The guy who wanted tanks and missile launchers at his inauguration is anti-war.I'd say he's about as anti-war as an isolationist would be.
Why 9 barrels? When you watch the video in full context, he's talking about neocons in Washington who are willing to send troops into needless wars. This wasn't a call to put Cheney in front of a firing squad, it was a remark that these politicians don't care about the horrors of war.

So far you’ve gotten zero, if anyone is counting at home, but don’t let me interruptI know I'll probably get a bunch more "I'm gonna SUPER IGNORE YOU!!!" replies for this, but whatever.
Trump supported invading Iraq in 2002 and 2003 (and beyond).I'm just saying... watch the full video. I look for the full video clip whenever the left or the right posts something like this. I know I'll probably get a bunch more "I'm gonna SUPER IGNORE YOU!!!" replies for this, but whatever.
