There we go. Slap a JD Vance caption on it and watch it go viral.
It really is the inmates being lined up to run the asylum. Imagine if Marge "tell us you have daddy issues without telling us you have daddy issues" Greene becomes Secretary of Education? In seriousness, you know he'll get her in charge of some damned thing. These motherfuckers are using "no vaccines" as a closing argument? Really? Really? And then they wonder why they are losing ground in the burbs and among educated people.
Trump has been talking up RFK as a cabinet member. Now JD Vance.
In reference to the video with RFK Jr. talking about vaccines, I think he said Autism used to be 1 in 100,000. (I don't remember where that tweet is so going by memory.)These motherfuckers are using "no vaccines" as a closing argument? Really? Really? Rates of autism diagnosis have indeed risen in the last couple of decades. My wife is a child psychiatrist; she sees this every day. But you're right that it was never 1 in 100,000 (hey RFK Jr, things with that incidence level are not widely known by the public!), and the increase is in large measure about new diagnostic criteria and women having babies later in life (IIRC mother age at birth is correlated with autism; my autistic boys were born when their mom was 40).In reference to the video with RFK Jr. talking about vaccines, I think he said Autism used to be 1 in 100,000. I was born in 1971. In my first grade of about 35-40 kids (small town but actually largest grade in K-12) we had one girl who would have been considered having very low functioning Autism. (She was in the special education classes.) People just used the R word for her. We had another who was mainstreamed but would have been considered lower functioning on the spectrum. Then who knows how many would have been considered with higher functioning Autism.
What we know of Autism today would not have been a 1 in 100k thing back then. Not even close.
I'm intimately familiar with the EC (special education) systems as my son is in it. The number of kids who were in special education classes in the 1970's was not significantly less than it is today. (Of course not all of them would have an Autism diagnosis today but many would.) At least from my experience that is the case. I remember a few kids being in permanent special education and a few others who would be pulled out for it. Basically the same as today.
In Kentucky, it’s called “Kynect.”Like many of his cult followers, he may not know that the ACA and Obamacare are the same thing. A number of years ago reporters asked Trump supporters who were on Obamacare what they thought of it, and what they found was that as long as they called it the Affordable Care Act these people loved it. But when they asked these people what they thought about Obamacare - which of course is the same thing - they said they hated it and didn't support it. Just pure, willful ignorance.
It'll be the closest Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho has gotten to becoming president. It really is the inmates being lined up to run the asylum. I remember a study where it was more correlated with the father's age. That came out about 10 years ago. Wasn't familiar with one on the mother's age. (Downs Syndrome is strongly correlated with the mother's age.)Rates of autism diagnosis have indeed risen in the last couple of decades. My wife is a child psychiatrist; she sees this every day.
