Oh yeah, the Gilded Age was just wonderful. No safety net for workers, no Social Security or Medicare or Medicaid, no sick leave or vacation leave, employers could make workers work any hours they wanted and basically treat them any way they wanted, no safety regulations for industries or mines, child labor with kids as young as seven or eight employed in dangerous jobs, ruthless government and corporate crushing of labor strikes, companies allowed to pollute rivers, lakes, and clear cut whole forests, entire state legislatures bought and bribed by wealthy plutocrats like Rockefeller and Carnegie. Yeah, it was just a workers paradise. And those McKinley tariffs just drove up prices for workers as well.

My guess is that as heart-broken as they must be, they are being comforted that he died protecting his family and seeing Trump and God called Corey home as part of a greater plan to lift Trump to power as Corey wanted.

How many times have we heard it was “God’s will” in the face of unspeakable tragedy (like a small child killed in an accidental shooting). It is effective.
