Even though the inflation rate had abated, prices were still the motivating factor for independents. Whether they believed Trump could actually reduce prices is not as significant as their belief that Biden/Harris were responsible for the higher prices in the first place.

And the public not realizing that the Jerome Powell-lead Fed did a really good job (or got really lucky) to get rates down to 2.2 or 2.3 percent without going into a recession. The “soft landing” that economists considered a low probability at the time.

One of the problems with democracy is that it relies a lot on the opinion of dumbasses.

It was one of the central debates during the founding period. How much power should be extended to dumbasses? There is a strain of political thought that the collective wisdom of dumbasses is better than the wisdom of any individual dumbass. Additionally, limiting the vote to only non-dumbasses has problems, too -- including the potential for the dumbasses to engage in violent insurrection.

So, yes, we have rule by dumbasses. But it is better than all the alternatives.

A 19 year old going by the moniker “Big Ballz” getting the fuck kicked out of him by a couple of 15-year-olds whose ballz have barely dropped, is the perfect encapsulation of the shitshow that is the Trump presidency.
 
D.C.'s homicide rate consistently ranks among the highest for major cities and would likely be among the highest if it were a state.
It was a reason they had to change the name of the Washington Bullets…

It was approximately 10 pepple. Only 2 fifteen year olds have been arrested so far. Dude got messed up by a gang of criminals. I don't think its funny. I wouldn't want that happening to my kid.

Could be. However, if I got beaten up by a 15 year old girl and boy, I’d probably be talking about 10-12 people as well. If it was 10, most must’ve been watchers because pic of him doesn’t resemble a 10 person beatdown.

Given the state of emergency that has forced our military into the streets, I’m surprised his Republican colleagues hadn’t sufficiently warned him about being in the DC streets at 3 a.m.
