Trump to take over D.C. Law Enforcement

Anyone else just think it's hilarious that a guy who calls himself Big Balls got beaten up so badly by a child that it caused Trump to call out the national guard?

This is genuinely the dumbest timeline.
His balls are really normal size, it's just that his dick is so tiny that his balls look huge.

That's how he got to know Trump, they met in a tiny penis support group.

It was approximately 10 pepple. Only 2 fifteen year olds have been arrested so far. Dude got messed up by a gang of criminals. I don't think its funny. I wouldn't want that happening to my kid.
I would hope that you had raised your kid well enough to not go by the nom de plume "big balls."

Meh. If that's the worst thing he's done, I'm doing okay. Isn't it just like a screen name? Something a 15 year old might do with fortnite? I mean I guess it's a little funny, but kid is 19. It's not that big a deal.

Guess it's a little better than raising a kid who is celebrating somebody getting beaten down by 10 people.

I keep coming back to demographics. So who's responsible? Who put in place policies to get people off the farm and into apartments? Who put in place policies that increased womens' participation in the work force? Who created highly effective contraception? Who throttled immigration? I don't think there is one person or party, but collectively, low birth rates are likely driving the crime drop.

That's my guess anyway.
Got bad news for you, homes. The % of Americans 25 or younger is about the same as it was in 2000. It actually increased a bit in 2010, and then in 2020 it was back down to 2000 levels. That's according to ChatGPT's web search and validated by me with census data.

It's unclear to me why you would post a multi-paragraph argument, and then many posts following, on a falsity that you could have easily checked. Like, everything you've written here is absolute horse shit because you didn't bother to do a couple of searches.

Now, try digesting the meaning of per capita.
His argument is theoretically viable. It's a compositional approach to analyzing. Consider a basketball team where the top 2 scorers, A and B, shoot 40% and 45% respectively. A shoots twice as often as B. Now consider the next season -- A shoots 39% and B shoots 44%, but they shoot equal numbers of shots. The overall team FG% will increase even though both players decreased their shooting percentages. The mix between them is different.

The problem is that his presumption is empirically false.

Another problem is that he's doing a fallacy of composition because he's only considering one grouping while ignoring others. For instance, age isn't the only variable that affects crime. So too is, say, family income or IQ. Even if the population is getting younger, it could still be getting higher IQ -- again, from purely compositional effects because the low-IQ groups are less represented. Or vice versa.

The real demographic answer, from what I've read (and I haven't studied closely) is unleaded gasoline. Our generation had lower IQs because of the lead in the gas.

Why is it unclear? It’s friggin GT?

Guessing you didn't do the google to confirm his claims. Here's a population pyramid that illustrates the percentage of population aging. Notice the fat part getting higher from 2000 to 2025. That means a larger percentage of the population is older over time.

Another stat that might be easier to understand is the median age of the US population. In 2000 it was 35.3. In 2024, it was 39.1.

White House suggests homeless in DC could be fined, jailed

“The homeless problem has ravaged the city,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters.

“Homeless individuals will be given the option to leave their encampment, to be taken to a homeless shelter, to be offered addiction or mental health services, and if they refuse, they will be susceptible to fines or to jail time.”

… Leavitt said Tuesday that moving homeless people far from the city isn’t off the table and that the administration is “exploring” that option.

“But again, homeless shelters, offered addiction and mental health services or jail, if they refuse, are the options on the table right now,” she said.
