Trump to take over D.C. Law Enforcement

Guessing you didn't do the google to confirm his claims. Here's a population pyramid that illustrates the percentage of population aging. Notice the fat part getting higher from 2000 to 2025. That means a larger percentage of the population is older over time.

Another stat that might be easier to understand is the median age of the US population. In 2000 it was 35.3. In 2024, it was 39.1.
LOL that you claim to be a data scientist. Why is it that I know more than you about what you claim to do for a living?

Median age (if in the 30s) tells you almost nothing about what % of the population is under 25. It only does if the distribution has neither skew nor kurtosis. But your entire argument is premised on non-normality, so the median is not a useful indicator of under 25 population. Anyway, as you can also see, a secondary bulge develops below the primary bulge in 2010, which is what accounts for the relative stability of the U25 population. Now, I don't know about the projections to 2100 but they are not relevant.

You can look at the data yourself at census.gov. It becomes clearer once you take out under 5 year olds, as they not exactly a criming population. 5U were especially strong in 2000 and by 2010 and 2020 those numbers have gone down.

The peak criming ages, I think, are 18-24. In 2000, that cohort was 9.6%; in 2010, it was 9.9%; and by 2020, it was back to 9.5%.

In any case, these tiny shifts are obviously not sufficient to explain large drops in crime. At most we are talking a couple of percentage points, depending on exactly what age range is under discussion.

This is a massive distraction effort. Concerned Americans should keep calling their representatives and vocalizing their concerns over the release of the Epstein files. They should also support their Governors and State AG's while they deal with the use of the military against US citizens.

I don't think so. I think this has been the goal all along. The other shit is distraction.

D.C.'s homicide rate consistently ranks among the highest for major cities and would likely be among the highest if it were a state.
It was a reason they had to change the name of the Washington Bullets…
And recent data also shows that DC's violent crime rate is the lowest in thirty years, has declined by 35% in just the last two years, and has dropped 26% since January. If the Trumper argument is that DC is such a crime-ridden hellhole that the feds have to take it over and quite literally turn it into a police state then they're about thirty years too late. Even better, why didn't Dear Leader do this in his first term when the crime rate was significantly higher than it is now?

Many suspected that Trump would try and use a pretext for calling in the military and declaring martial law so as to prevent the midterm elections.

So this is not to say this is not part of Trump's plan. I think it is a major part of his plan.

What was not part of his plan was the backlash regarding the Epstein files and the cracks in support from his base. People should not lose sight of that and keep pressing on that issue.

Real Jesus or Republican Jesus?
Republican Jesus speaks:

"Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.

"Remove these homeless beggars and bums from my sight, for they are a nuisance.
Mock those who suffer, for they deserve it.
Persecute all strangers and immigrants and anyone who is different from you, for they are inferior and likely criminals.
Blessed are the wealthy, for they are naturally superior to those who are not.
Blessed are the arrogant assholes, for being modest and humble is a sign of weakness and to be avoided.
Blessed are those who are corrupt and greedy and selfish, for they shall be rewarded with material wealth.
Blessed are the cruel and mean-spirited, because showing mercy is for suckers.
Blessed are the hypocrites, for they shall privately enjoy the delights of the flesh while still condemning others for doing the same.
Blessed are the bullies, for they shall dominate and intimidate others despite privately being fearful cowards.
And Blessed are those who lust for power and control, for they shall dominate thine government.

Amen."

Meh. If that's the worst thing he's done, I'm doing okay. Isn't it just like a screen name? Something a 15 year old might do with fortnite? I mean I guess it's a little funny, but kid is 19. It's not that big a deal.

Guess it's a little better than raising a kid who is celebrating somebody getting beaten down by 10 people.
He is literally responsible for death around the world. Get off your high horse.
