They believe - bless their extremely gullible little hearts and minds - that because the government now belongs to Trump, it also belongs to them as well, and they fully approve of people and groups they don't like having no say at all in the government or public policy. Since liberals are evil and godless and not Real Americans they don't deserve the same rights and freedoms and protections that they have. The fact that Trump & Company are screwing them in the long term as much as anyone is something they simply refuse to believe. Instead they're just buying Trump Cologne and Bibles and "2020 was stolen!" Trump flags and celebrating owning the libs and using their total control of government to make them suffer as much as possible. It's what they do.

There is fighting on social issues, but for a lot of issues, uniparty is not too far off. Especially with what Elon is talking about on debt, spending, and taxes. The party not in power might fuss like crazy, but at the end of the day, military spending doesn't get cut, taxes don't get raised, and the debt keeps on increasing.

And in some ways, it's by design. If it looks like there's a choice between the people that want to keep abortions legal versus end abortion or decide which bathroom a trans person should go in, both political parties can keep giving rich people tax breaks, keep overspending on defense and keep crushing worker rights in exchange for those campaign donations.

And just try to change the laws to make it easier for third parties to gain traction, like Europeans have and Americans want, and just see the two parties come together.

Elon isn't capable of feeling empathy for anyone except himself, imo. His main complaint about this new budget is that it doesn't cut enough, so he wanted even more people to lose their jobs and welfare benefits, not less. He's just pissed because he went from being (at least in his own mind) the co-president to being yet another person used and dumped by Dear Leader, people now hate his guts for the most part and it's hurting his companies, especially Tesla, and (in a wonderful irony) the man who wanted to gut government programs is now having his own government goodies greatly reduced or even eliminated. Too damn bad, Elon, too damn bad.

There are only two types of people in Trump's world... people who bow down to him... and people who he makes pay for not bowing down to him. Elon thought he was exempt from this. Ooops. That Asperger's really gets in the way sometimes...
 
Sp Pres Trump is threatening to deport Elon? does that mean he sends EM to Alligator Alcataz first. I hear the gators held a boxing style weigh-in event and said "We want the manatee--Trump"
 
Best to assume their little spat is orchestrated, just like the Iranian nuclear site bombing was orchestrated with Putin and Iran.

Its a private company so they don't disclose. Industry analysts estimate half comes from starlink, 40% comes from other commercial customers and 10% from NASA.
