First past the post exists in those other races too. His plan could easily result in heavy majorities in both the house and senate, and that might only take his candidates getting 10% or so.

If it somehow ended up with a supermajority in the senate, then impeachment and removal becomes a legitimate goal - for both potus and scotus - if democrats had enough balls.

BTT because Elon is absolutely making his battle vs. Trump a “thing”.
The Epic part is playing out on Musk’s X or “The Platform formerly known as Twitter”. Elon insists on stoking the Epstein controversy (or conspiracy as it were) by throwing bombs on the regular.

There are at least two other threads on this board which speak to all things Epstein/Sexual Assault Appeal/Kash Patel/Files/Bondi/Bonjovigino/etc. but as long as Elon keeps stoking those Epstein flames… this thread won’t go away either.

Yes, Elon is trying to battle Trump by floating a new, 3rd party gambit, but: The Epstein files “mystery” will be the defining battle between Trump and Elon and it is indeed becoming “epic”

I'm not sure how much it matters if Musk actually creates a party and/or runs folks in elections. If he merely pulls his money, X, and his fawning support from Trump/Republicans it will hurt them to some extent.

OK, if we get to 67 in the Senate, everything will be changed. All Scotus will be impeached, Trump, everyone.

But I'm currently as fucking optimistic as they come electorally and I don't see any path to 67. MS, AL, FL, LA, AR, ND, SD, WY, UT, SC, TN, KY, ID -- those are absolutely safe seats for the GOP. That's 26 Senators that are in solid R. They would need only 8 other senators from NC, OH, KS, NE, MT, GA, MO, IA. Currently the GOP has 14 of these seats. Under these most generous assumptions, I'm not counting WI, MI or PA as swing states, but we have McCormick just elected in PA and he's not going anywhere for 6 years.

Seems the states full of backwards thinking racists and bigots are always safe for one party.
