Then why do you pose so many of those to others and expect an answer?I try not to answer bullshit questions posed out of ignorance and hatred.
That’s a different question. Do you think any of this would have happened without 10/7? Hamas FAFO and innocent Palestinians bore the brunt, as usual. So you’re saying the destruction of Gaza and the killing of tens of thousands was warranted?
He stated it above, he's ok with a trump resort on the property. So, what are your thoughts on trump’s statement that Gaza will be ethnically cleansed?
So the want to steal these people's property?
“…“The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip and we’ll do a job with it, too. We’ll own it,” Trump said.
“I do see a long-term ownership position, and I see it bringing great stability to that part of the Middle East, and maybe the entire Middle East.”
Trump suggested that U.S. troops would be used, if needed, to implement his vision for Gaza.
He presented this idea, one never before suggested by a U.S. president or Middle East peace negotiator, as a way to end generations of conflict between Israel and the Palestinians and, also, as a bonus, an opportunity to create sweet real-estate development opportunities.
The idea was breathtaking in its audacity, and it would be fair to say that its implementation would run into myriad obstacles at home and abroad, except that the overwhelming likelihood is that the U.S. would never come near implementing this notion.
Trump’s proposal to displace 2.2 million Palestinian residents from their homes, which he expanded on today, has already angered the Arab world.
A direct American intervention in Gaza would radically expand the U.S. footprint in the Middle East, giving it possession of a territory devastated by 15 months of fighting between Hamas and the Israel Defense Forces, ignited by the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. And it could further destabilize a region never known for its stability.
… Trump’s Gaza plan, were it to be carried out, would appear to be a remarkable win for the far-right members in Netanyahu’s governing coalition, who have longed for permanent Israeli expansion into both Gaza and the West Bank.
Netanyahu—a longtime Trump ally, and the first foreign leader to visit the White House in the president’s second term—suggested that he was open to the idea, noting that Trump “sees a different future for that piece of land.”
He added: “It’s worth paying attention to this. We’re talking about it. It’s something that could change history.”
… One White House official told me that Trump’s comments were not a spur-of-the-moment suggestion but reflective of a newfound, postelection confidence that he could put together the ultimate deal and change decades of history. …”

So, if you and your neighbors can't get along. Your neighbor has the upper hand because he has a weapons supplier that you do not. You don't want to move. You just want to live your life. You would see the neighbor's weapon supplier offering to move you and take over your property as a good thing?I disagree. I think trump does care about palestinians suffering. I also think he sees developmental opportunities. Both can be true.
Its not sudden. So the want to steal these people's property?
What's up with the sudden desire for land expansion?
I think if my current home was a pile of rubble located in a very dangerous neighborhood, and my neighbor's weapon supplier offered to build me a nice, modern home located in a safe neighborhood where I had a chance to actually prosper and give my family a good life, I might take him up on that offer. So, if you and your neighbors can't get along. I doubt many Palestinians will see being forced to leave their homea as a great option.
Sounds very much like how we started Israel in the first place which has clearly been a huge win for middle east stability and peace.I think if my current home was a pile of rubble located in a very dangerous neighborhood, and my neighbor's weapon supplier offered to build me a nice, modern home located in a safe neighborhood where I had a chance to actually prosper and give my family a good life, I might take him up on that offer.
If the new Gaza strip, wherever that may be, does not share a physical border with Israel and is able to actually give the Palestinians things they have long wanted (a state of their own, an airport, the ability to control their own trade) then this could be a net win for them. Of course, all of those "ifs" are major contingencies. If you just take 1.8 million people and put them in a new slum a few miles down the road, nothing will change for the better.
Exactly the details matter, I really doubt that trump's plan is to build them nice houses when they are resettled.I think if my current home was a pile of rubble located in a very dangerous neighborhood, and my neighbor's weapon supplier offered to build me a nice, modern home located in a safe neighborhood where I had a chance to actually prosper and give my family a good life, I might take him up on that offer.

I'd be willing to give them Florida.Sure if there was some Shangri-La out there available to move 2 million people to where they could live and prosper I suppose that would be great. But the problem is:
1) No such place exists, it would have to be built same as Gaza needs to be re-built
2) The Arab countries don't want 2 million refugee immigrants any more than we would want to take that on
3) Trump seems to think that not only the Arab countries should take them, but also foot the bill for this hypothetical utopia and
4) The Palestinians themselves don't want to leave the land their ancestors have lived on for generations
So despite all of that it's a terrific idea.
