It looks like he runs towards Hill to grab him from behind and possibly take him to the ground?
Looks like you might be right. Seems unnecessary to wrestle a handcuffed man to the ground but I guess we'll see what happened when the body cam footage is released.

What does him being a millionaire have to do with anything?
A lot of very wealthy people have an attitude that they are above the law. Not saying that Hill is that way, but there's a reason "do you know who I am" is a thing.

But what does that have to do with him ostensibly "getting the benefit of the doubt"?

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was detained by police Sunday outside Hard Rock Stadium for a driving violation but was released from custody before Miami's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and is playing.

Hill was seen on video posted to social media face down on the ground as officers placed his hands behind his back and put him in handcuffs.

Sources told ESPN's Jeff Darlington that Hill was stopped for speeding and then got into a verbal altercation with police and was subsequently placed in handcuffs.

Hill was cited for reckless driving, sources told Darlington.

The traffic incident happened about one block away from the stadium, the team said. Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support, according to the team.

The Miami-Dade Police Department released a statement from Director Stephanie V. Daniels, who requested an "immediate review" of the incident.

"We are aware of the recent detainment of Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill by Miami-Dade Police Department officers," she said in the statement. "I have requested an immediate review of all details surrounding the incident, and we are also reviewing available body camera footage. We will provide updates as further information becomes available."

In an interview with ESPN, Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, called it "a heartbreaking situation" that was "completely unnecessary." He said he wants to make sure his client wasn't mistreated and that seeing his client handcuffed was "mind-boggling."

"We will investigate," Rosenhaus said. "We will look out for Tyreek."

He added that he was "just thankful Tyreek is OK" and thanked the team for helping to deescalate the situation.

I don't see him hit him. And, I think given his movement, it would be more likely that he actually kicked the guy while he was on the ground.
Watch it again. It appears that one of the officers goes over to him and then he bends like someone kicked him. He's in cuffs, what the fuck could he need kicking for?

Cops need to not be so thin skinned also.

I'm lucky to be white. I once said fuck you to a cop. He responded with have a nice day, that ticket's going to cost you around $100.

Exactly. Plus, this is a traffic stop, no one here is condoning his prior behavior or even his mouthing off today, just seems excessive for a traffic stop.

And speaking of big black, men .....

"Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill wasn’t the only player handcuffed and detained by police before today’s game.

Defensive linemen Calais Campbell told reporters after the game that he too was handcuffed, and he said police cited him for disobeying an officer’s order.

Campbell said that when he saw that Hill had been detained on his way to the stadium, he approached in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. Instead, police handcuffed Campbell as well.

A former Walter Payton Man of the Year Award winner, the 38-year-old Campbell has an impeccable reputation around the NFL."

Four armed cops with one dude in a tank top, and they were still afraid of the big black man.
My wife and I watched a Netflix movie, Rebel Ridge, yesterday. Not a great movie, but this arrest reminds me of the beginning of the movie.

? I said it looked like the cop kicked him, not punched him.
