Or instead of fly outs, some drives down the line or in the gap would be nice. Have made solid contact but right at someone.Very hard to hit it out of the park in this weather.

They decided to listen to you and then the rain came.Or instead of fly outs, some drives down the line or in the gap would be nice. Have made solid contact but right at someone.
Haha...pitching change made a big difference too. Lot easier to hit 90 on the ground than 93 which gets in on your hands really quicky. They decided to listen to you and then the rain came.
I understand not wanting to give our batters a third look at the starter, but sometimes managers over think these things. The starter still looked really good.Haha...pitching change made a big difference too. Lot easier to hit 90 on the ground than 93 which gets in on your hands really quicky.
I agree. Overmanaging is rampant in college baseball. We do a fair amount of it too. My single biggest critique of Coach Forbes though is the nonstop challenges of umpire calls. We challenged a call up 9 runs in Greenville and I wanted to scream. We have to see that same crew all weekend and that's just dumb in my opinion. I really don't know why we do that.I understand not wanting to give our batters a third look at the starter, but sometimes managers over think these things. The starter still looked really good.
6-1-1Looks like the game ends in a tie. Does that mean our record is 6-1-1 now, or is the game no contest since it didn't go 7 innings?
Dang. Well, good thing we got those two runs back in the B5 before it ended!6-1-1
Game is a tie, series is a tie.![]()
