Then Henri can be a stretch 4 and Jarin can be 1st off the bench at the 3/4/5 positions.

Need a PG, even though Avdalas can help distribute the ball.

There is no scenario where we pay for Sherrell (the C from Bama) and Henri. Centers are too expensive this year.

This is the portion of portal season when fans start making fantasy lineups that are not constrained by budgets.

I liked the breakdown of the starting spacing, the pressure put on the defense by a three man action, and the detail of the shift in the spaced wing during penetration. There’s structure to the play but options for improv depending on what the defense does. I feel like last season a lot of the action was a two man game without much additional rotation/shifting from off ball players. Given the commitment of Neo, it will be interesting to see him added into a scheme like this as potentially the Gordon role.

I also liked how CMM described the guard screen setting work they did and overall practice plan he has in place (part/whole/part).

Eh, I don’t know much about the Bama center but that would feel like a clunky front court imo just based on his profile. I like the idea of rolling with Veesaar/Stevenson and trusting they’ll improve defensively.

I’d feel better about Stevenson in a 6th man role with a better defender at the 4, but those guys don’t grow on trees and I think we have too many other holes on the perimeter to worry about first.

And yet when you look at the box score, the actual production is so startingly low. He doesn't get many steals or blocks. He doesn't grab many boards. He doesn't make plays on offense.

Let's hope Malone can unlock the formula with Jarin.

You are correct that if we are starting last year's Jarin at the 4, it will not bode well for our national title hopes.
 
Good that they got a solid transfer committ. Getting Juke along with Veesaar staying would be great. Hopefully they can get Mingo to still come, especially if Dixon and Luka are both leaving.
 
Don't know what the budget is, but Harris/Veesar/Avdalas/Stevenson, retaining the recruits and maybe adding Mingo the elder seems like ~$20mm if going rates are to be believed.
