It is true that it makes the job simpler to have the cornerstone locked up.

But lots and lots of great teams were built out of the portal without Henri. So there is more than one way to skin the cat if Henri goes to the draft or demands an insane re-signing amount.

He wasn’t what any of us hoped for, but he had some really good moments. I’m hoping with a year under his belt he can look more comfortable and improved next year.

Probably. The more pieces you can lock in quick the better. Plus Malone is connected to his agent
