Don’t know if they have or haven’t. But agree that would be easier to keep quietI only think the first bullet point is true.

What convinced you?I only think the first bullet point is true.
Bold strategy. I still think coaches matter. Quite a bit.We need stud players I couldn't care less about who coaches them.
If you mean returning from our 2-deep, based on the guys who have said they're entering the portal (though hopefully McVay comes back for cheap, House too), i think it is:Who is returning in our 2-deep?
I'm done paying for recruiting news. But I'll take your word for it that Greg made a strong case.
Interesting about Baker, may be hoping to compete under a real OC in chapel hill this spring or after Bill leaves this time next yearPretty good scoop by Greg Barnes.
Lopez broke his leg against state. UNC supposedly has interest in Harvard qb who hit portal. Kitchens is out. When is uncertain. Demon June is back. Looks like Shipp is too.
Really interesting in Baker. Sources say staff not high in him but there is no effort to push him out and he likes CH.
Greg's info does seem to debunk the fan theory that his family actively did not want him to play this year. It is almost certainly the case that if he doesn't leave via portal, it's exactly because he's hoping to outlast Bill.Interesting about Baker, may be hoping to compete under a real OC in chapel hill this spring or after Bill leaves this time next year
My hunch is that the family wasn't sold on the idea of him being the first game starter and wanted him to get a little more behind the scenes seasoning, but I doubt that they didn't want him to not see the field at all. There is no “at” SI. It is just a brand that has been destroyed by a series of acquisitions and is now used by unemployed (ahem, freelance) journalists to try to make enough money for the day’s Starbucks run. It is best not to read anything under that brand these days. We're a "major college program" you guys. So that's pretty cool. Must be a quiet news day at SI.

Major college football program loses 15 players to transfer portal after 2025 season
The actual 2025 college football season is now over for many schools, marking the start of another rollicking transfer portal season. We've got drama already, awww.si.com
What good coach would take the position?I don’t doubt that Kitchens is done as OC even if it hasn’t been formally announced. Frankly it feels like he was always just a one season stop gap from the time he was named to the position.
The concern is whether or not Belichick is actively looking for a good replacement or just dragging his feet again to end up with another lackluster hire. I guess time will tell but he hasn’t exactly earned the benefit of the doubt in that regard.

It’s gonna be an NFL coach because … of course. What good coach would take the position?
Maybe if we massively overpaid him.
Been my concern all along. If the best hire that Belichick could manage last season was Kitchens, how is he going to improve on that now that he’s another year older and also gave potential candidates a full season of evidence that he doesn’t know what he’s doing? What good coach would take the position?
Maybe if we massively overpaid him.
No way I would pay for info like that when its free on numerous sites and apps, homie.I'm done paying for recruiting news. But I'll take your word for it that Greg made a strong case.
