I think he's 31 so he probably knows a lot of up-and-comer young college coaches allowing him to assemble an all under 35 staff. We'll save LOTS of money on the staff - allowing us to spend more $$ on purchasing a talented roster.

who cares about a large body of work? how well has that worked out for unc overpaying for coaches with large bodies of work?

new age and time spend all the money on the very best talent and i guarantee you no matter what level of football coach is coaching we will be competitive. the days of spending millions on a staff with no guarantees should be over, but most fans are just pure dumb. the 20 mil a yr we are spending on useless staff will buy a lot of very good football players. any idiot off the streets can coach the game of football and plenty of young hungry no name coaches would do very well at unc with the talent we could now buy.

i dont expect our fans or our university to be this proactive even though it would work. fuck paying millions on a football staff....buy the best players!

WRAL is reporting a fight between 2 players in the locker room on Tuesday.

Probably not a big deal in the grand scheme, but the rumor mill needed more grist.

EXACTLY. That's why I'm suggesting the George Costanza approach to hiring a new coach. Let's try the the opposite of what we've tried in the past. Hire an inexperienced, young staff with no ties to the SE and let's see what happens. Put all our money into player salaries. Could it be any worse than the results this season?
